Welcome to my web page. I have been teaching early childhood years since 1966 throughout three continents. My specialty is in multi-cultural education, philosophy and individual instruction. I have been a part of De Anza college since 1997 and have taught courses including Human Development (Early Years through Adolescence); Self-Assessment for Teachers of Young Children; School, Home & Community; Administration for Early Childhood Educators; Montessori Method; The Exceptional Child; Principles and Practice in Early Childhood Education.

A few words about my unique experiences. I have had diverse experiences with hands-on multicultural education. I have served on the board of orphanages. I have helped put together two lab schools. I have been on the task force for the Kansas City Magnet Schools. I have been a school director and administrator for over ten years. My main interest is to bring multiculturalism to the class environment and to facilitate learning in the classroom and beyond.
