Course Description:

Auto 99B begins in mid-November with the focus on body electrical diagnosis beginning with how to read a wiring diagram (with over 100 exercises) but more importantly how to diagnose body electrical faults using such diagrams.  Included in the wiring diagram section, is extensive training in body electrical systems such as power windows, mirrors, door locks, lighting circuits including daytime running lamps, air conditioning/heating, cooling fans, cruise control and instrument clusters.  At the end of 99B, 2 to 3 weeks are spent diagnosing and repairing body electrical faults on a variety of vehicles.   There is also a section on wiring repair focusing on soldering, crimping and overall wire repair techniques.

 

Preparation for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) examination in areas A6.

 

Course includes: CA Alternative ASE A6 Certification (pending test results)
