Accounting and Business Lab
The accounting and business lab is made up primarily of the computers in pods V, W, X, Y and Z. Accounting applications such as Quickbooks, Peachtree and Integrated Accounting are installed here for student work as well as the Microsoft Office 2000 suite. For business students, the Mike's Bike simulation is also installed. There is internet access in the lab and there is a printer located in Pod W.
Who may use the lab?
Students who are enrolled in Acct 86, Acct 87, or Acct 105, are automatically able to create user accounts to use the lab computers. Students who are only enrolled in Acct 1A, 1B, 1C must enroll an Acct 100section as directed by their instructor to complete assignments before they can create user accounts. Business students must enroll in the Bus 500section.
Lab Rules
Use of the lab is restricted to legitimate Accounting, Business or CIS assignments. Please refer to the lab rules posted in the lab and printed on the information handouts for complete details of the rules. The rules are strictly enforced and non-compliance with the rules can result in the suspension of user accounts.
