Accounting 105This page contains information relevent to Accounting 105. Below are some common issues.
Invalid Section Number
The De Anza section number for the class is not one the software likes so just ignore the message about the invalid section number.
Start Exercise
If you are not able to slect answers when you begin a quiz, make sure the "Start Exercise" (F12) button is clicked in the upper right of the screen.
Finishing Quizzes
The bottom right corner of the screen will let you know how many questions are in a quiz and which question you have completed. After you complete the final question, click the calendar icon to go to the next topic.
Printing
In the lab, you will only be able to print the course log. You cannot print pages from the reference book. If you attempt to print anything other than the course log, the program will crash. If this happens, just re-enter the program and begin where you were.
Data Disk
If you plan to work at home and in the lab, you will need to create a data disk. The data disk will contain the most updated version of your course work and is used to update each computer on which you do your work. In the "Employee Info" section there is a box to check indicating that you intend to work on two computers. The box must be checked on both computers. Remember to only create a new data disk once. After that you always "update" the disk.
