InfoBiography
I graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Music. Because it is difficult to earn a living actually in your passion, I did grad work at San Diego State University where I pick up all the accounting classes necessary to sit for the CPA Exam. After passing the Exam, I worked for a medium sized accounting firm in La Jolla for 7 years during which I handeled all phases of accounting work. After moving to Oregon in 1988, I was asked to join the faculty at Oregon State University for the 1989 year. My family moved to the Bay Area in 1989 where I secured a part-time job at De Anza. I have been teaching at De Anza Community College since 1989.
