CIS2: CCC Confer for Group MeetingsUsing CCC Confer for online meetings
CCC Confer is a service for online "real time" office hours and group discussions. Participants are connected by phone and the web.
Everyone participating phones the toll-free number at the specified "meeting" time. This is a conference call so everyone who phones in can hear everyone else on the call.
There is a special web chat that goes along with this service, so you will access that at the same time as the phone call.
BEFORE the scheduled meeting time, make sure your computer can display the web portion of the meeting. Review the Student participation instructions. If you have specific questions that you would like answered during a meeting, you can send the question to me or to your group (if your questions relate to your group specifically).
If you want a special, separate meeting set up just for your project group, I can do that. Within your group, decide on a specific time that you want. Send a request to me for that time, along with a list of students who will be invited to participate. Do this 2-3 business days before you want your meeting and I will make the offical request to schedule this time for you.

Live Office Hours Training
is available every Wednesday at 9:00am PDT. You can phone in and partcipate as the instructor demonstrates the functions of the system. There is also time for you to ask questions about using the system.

Setup Wizard
- CCC Confer Office Hours requires that your computer be ready too. The Setup wizard directs you through a series of tests for your computer and will notify you if your computer needs changes or updates for you to participate in the web-based portion of the meetings.

NOTE: You can participate in the phone portion of the meeting even if you can not access the web portion. These are separate so even if you can not access one part, you can still participate.
