Using Publisher Content in Online Courseshttp://faculty.deanza.edu/taylorvalerie/epacks
Many publishers are providing instructors with curriculum and learning material for delivery with WebCT, the the DeAnza course management system. Depending on your textbook publisher and the textbook you are using, you may be able to incorporate some or all the contents of a publisher-supplied e-pack into your course.
Are you considering using WebCT or adding an online component to your on-campus class. Adopting an e-pack may be a good choice. You instantly have textbook related content available to your students. You have a chance to "test the water" using online materials without the burden of having to create everything yourself "from scratch." You are free to use as much or little of the e-pack material as you like. You can add your own content to personalize the course to compliment your teaching style and your students' needs.
