| De Anza College supports faculty web sites so that you can provide teaching and learning resources for your students and others in the college community.
Essentially the same standards that apply to other materials you produce for your students apply at your web site. For example, student privacy should be protected, materials should be related to your De Anza teaching assignment, you must observe copyright laws, etc.
Keep your site up-to-date. Visitors to your site will be frustrated if they encounter broken links, near-empty pages, outdated information, and "under construction" notices. One of the advantages of our Manila-based system is that you can easily update and edit your pages by logging in and clicking the Edit This Page button found on every page of your site.
Take some time to investigate the Sample Sites listed in the sidebar. They may give you some ideas for you own site. If you aren't sure what to put on your site, think about adding basic information and using a format like that seen in the Basic Site example.
