From time to time the Faculty Support site home page features Manila sites created by De Anza College faculty members. This page is an archive of these featured sites.
Scott Heffner
Scott Heffner was one of the Manila "early-adopters." He quickly figured out that his site would be a great place to put PowerPoint presentations for his students, leading the team to increase support for uploaded files. Since then he has added extensive teaching and learning resources to his site.
Dorothy Coltrin
Dorothy Coltrin had a Manila site before the college offered them to faculty during the winter 2002 quarter. She moved her site to the new server and converted it to one of the new faculty "themes." Her site provides a variety of learning resources for her Nutrition students.
Mary Donahue
Mary Donahue was one of the first graduates of the 2-hour basic web site training sessions. Within a week she had created an extensive web site containing information about her P.E., Health, Wilderness First Aid, and CPR classes and the Outdoor Club.
Dan Mitchell
Dan Mitchell began the weblog project at De Anza College, running his own Frontier server for several years before the college began to support Manila web sites. He has since moved his Manila-based web site to the college server and uses it to provide resources to his Intro to Music and Electronic Music students.
