Message to StudentsBeyond the classroom, the ability to communicate effectively helps you develop in your personal relationships and as responsible citizens of the world. Competence in oral communication is a prerequisite to all aspects of your academic and personal success. I teach Public Speaking, Argumentation, and Effective Organizational Communication. My students say they like the classes because they are interactive, fun, and relevant to their personal lives. I enjoy working with De Anza's diverse student body, and invite students from all levels of experience to improve communication skills through planning, collaboration, practice, and thoughtful reflection.
