Math 114Final Grades - These are the final grades for the course, sorted by ID. If you want to know what you got on the final, talk to me next quarter. I did give a lot of opportunity for extra credit, so I will not be curving, or pushing up grades for anyone.
Course Description and Information
This class deals with some of the fundamentals of intermediate algebra. The course looks at a variety of functions and their applications, as well as sequences and series.

Assignments
Assignments will be posted a few days before they are due.
- Late Assignments will not be accepted, under any circumstances.
They should be turned in on a separate piece of paper (or they will not be graded).
You may work in groups of up to three people. Three names can appear on one paper.
Points will be taken off, if more than three names are on one assignment.
Class time will not be used to discuss assignments. If you have questions on the assignment, ask before or after class.
Assignment 1 - Due by January 28
Assignment 2 - Due by February 18
Assignment 3 - Due by March 11
Project
Most of the class project will be done in teams of 3-4 people. It will involve finding real data and analyzing it. The project will be broken into five parts, due at different points throughout the quarter. Due dates are on the calendar.

Project Pitch (5 points) - Each student presents an idea to the class
- Linear and Exponential Analysis (24 points) - Teams explore the data as linear and exponential functions
- Square Root Analysis (10 points) - Teams explores the data as a square root function
- Presentation (16 points) - Teams present their analysis and results to the class
- Paper (30 points) - Teams present their analysis and results in a paper
