Course Description and Information
This class introduces the fundamentals of differential calculus. The bulk of the first quarter calculus class deals with rates of change and the idea of the derivative, from velocity to slopes of tangent lines, as well as the many applications where the derivative proves useful.

Assignments
Assignments will be posted approximately one week before they are due.
Late Assignments will not be accepted, under any circumstances.
They should be turned in on a separate piece of paper (or they will not be graded).
You may work in groups of up to three people. Three names can appear on one paper.
Points will be taken off, if more than three names are on one assignment.
Assignment 1 - Due by October 7
Assignment 2 - Due by November 2
Assignment 3 - Due by November 25
Applications of Calculus - Due by November 30
Extra Credit Problem - Due by November 30
