Math 1CCalculus
Direction Field Plotter
Prerequisite: Math 1B (with a grade of C or better).
Text: Calculus: Concepts and Contexts by Stewart
Equipment: A graphing calculator (TI-86 recommended)
Homework: Will be assigned and may be collected. Questions on homework may be answered in class, if time permits.
Assignments:There will be three or four assignments during the course of the quarter. They will be collected and graded. Late Assignments will not be accepted. Success in this course requires practice: students should work problems in addition to these assignments.
Exams: Three exams will be given. The lowest exam score will be dropped (the final may not be dropped). There will be no Makeup Exams given.
Quizzes: Unannounced quizzes will be given throughout the course of the quarter. There will be no Makeup Quizzes given.
Final Exam: A two-hour comprehensive final exam will be given on Tuesday June 24 from 7:00-9:00am in G5. Failure to take this exam will result in a failure of the course.
Attendance: Students are expected to attend class. Students will be responsible for material missed. If you stop attending class, it is your responsibility to drop yourself from the course. Failure to do this will result in a failure of the course.
Policies:
Cheating: If a student is suspected of cheating on an exam/quiz, the student will receive a zero on the exam/quiz.
Cell Phones: The use (or ringing) of a cell phone in class may result in students losing points in the course.

Last day to drop for a refund – April 18
Last day to drop with no record of grade – April 25
Last day to request P/NP grade – May 2
Last day to drop with a "W" – May 30
