Advanced sculpture with an emphasis on idea development, visual investigation and the sculpture making process. Additional materials and processes will be examined and demonstrated.

Study the art of stone carving and metal sculpture. Stone carving will include idea development, selection of stone, use of pneumatic and hand tools, and finishing. Metal sculpture will explore the construction process, including welding (Oxy-Acetylene, MIG, TIG and Plasma Cutter) and sheet metal forming.
