About Me

After growing up in Southern California, I discovered the beautiful Santa Cruz area.  I have now lived in Santa Cruz for over 15 years, many of them with my husband and two dogs.  I enjoy playing competitive softball and riding my bike along the cliffs next to the ocean.

I have special interests in African-American literature and poetry, Chaucer, John Donne, British Literature, and in student writing.
