Academic year 2009 - 2010
Fall quarter 2009: This quarter I am teaching 2 sections of Math 10 - Elementary Statistics. These two sections are both distance learning courses with a REQUIRED on campus meeting once a week for 2 hours. I am also teaching two sections of Math 210 - PreAlgebra. One section is part of the Math Performance Success (MPS) program. Students interested in enrolling in this section must contact Herminio Hernando at 408-864-8551 to enroll. My other section of Math 210 is part of the Learning Community "Reading Math, Solving Writing: Mind, Miracles and Mysteries". This Community requires concurrent enrollment in Math210, Read211, Coun080 and Read212. Call 408-864-8780 for more information.
Winter quarter 2010:
This quarter I am teaching 2 sections of Math 10 - Elementary Statistics. These are both distance learning courses, one section of which has a required on-campus meeting of 2 hours per week.
I am also teaching two sections of Math 212 - Elementary Algebra Both are continuations of the Algebra sequence started last quarter. One section is part of the MPS program (call 408-864-8551 for information about enrolling and the other is part of the continuing Learning Community "Reading Math, Solving Writing: Power, Patterns and Problems". The Community requires concurrent enrollment in Math 112, EWRIT 211, a writing lab, and COUN-080X. Students MUST enroll in all four courses. Call 408-864-8780 for more information.
Spring quarter 2010:
I am teaching two sections of Math 114. One that is a part of the continuing Learning Community "Reading Math, Solving Writing". The Community requires concurrent enrollment in Math 114-.06D, EWRIT 1A-0.0 and COUN-080X. Students MUST enroll in all three courses. Call 408-864-5652 for more information.
