LART 100LART 100:
The LART classes are combined reading and writing classes. The LART 100 class combines READ 100 and EWRT 100B into one ten unit class with two instructors. LART 200, similarly, combines READ 201 and EWRT 100A into one ten unit class taught by two instructors. READ 101 and
EWRT 160 are each 1/2 unit co-requirements for LART 100. Though the instructors focus more on Reading or Writing, they frequently cross the boundaries of their disciplines in order to taylor their teaching to the English language skills necessary to prepare students for transfer level classes.
