INSTRUCTOR WEBSITE -   How to access the new website

“CollegeBrain.net” is a course management website where students can access and download important class documents, as well as class grades.  Follow these steps to utilize the website:

Open  a  student account :

1.        Go to ( http://collegebrain.net) and sign-up to open  a new student account.  You will be asked to provide the following information:  

·         Your name

·         Your School -  “ enter De Anza College”

·         Student I.D. # -  “ enter your name”

·         Your E-mail address and password

2.        You will receive an e-mail message directing you to activate your account  

3.        You must open an account and activate it in order to access the website.  This is a free service – no charge to you

 To access the website:

1.        Login to ( www.collegebrain.net) using the email address that you opened the account with.

2.        An “Overview Page” welcomes you with the following message –“Welcome your name , your school is De Anza College”

3.        You must add the course to your overview page.  Click the “ Add Course” link  and choose  your course.   The course will be added to your overview page.

4.        Once the course is added to the overview page you can click the class link that takes you to the class homepage.

5.        On the class homepage you can see “ class announcements”  and access course material in the main folder.
