Civilization is...After viewing Part 2 of the race series and using the list your group generated and the brainstorming in class today re-examine the list. How does it compare to 18th & 19th century policies on American Indians, slaves, colonizing the Phillipines, annexing Mexican land. etc. developed and executd by the U.S government? How do beliefs about race influence beliefs about what it means to be civilized?
