1. Your pottery must be a traditional SW Pueblo Indian shape and design. Here's a good link http://www.canyonart.com/pottery.htm

2. If you decide to paint a design on your piece of pottery it must be a traditional SW Pueblo Indian design and colors. You must print this design from the Internet and attach the printed copy to your pottery grading sheet downloaded from this website. The printed image and design must have been pre-approved by Mrs.Parker and rec'd. her signature.
3. Place your piece of pottery, wrapped in some kind of paper for padding, in a ziploc plastic bag with the grading sheet and printed copy of the SW pot that you modeled in the bag.
4. Remember that the requirement for the points for this project is to attempt the completion of a coiled pot. The coils must be smoothed, inside and out. If your pot breaks turn in the pieces anyway. I just want to see that you did try to finish the project.
4. If you wish to purchase more clay go to Clay Planet at 1775 Russell Ave. Santa Clara 408-295-3352. The large block of clay we had for class was around $10.00
