InfoBiography
I was born in Easton, Maryland, many years ago. I got my BA in psychology from Northwestern University. Later, I got my Master's in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. I practiced landscape architecture for about 15 years, in San Francisco and (as a campus planner) at Stanford University. I decided to change careers, so I took a Master's in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of San Francsico, which I completed in 1995. I have had the privilege of teaching at De Anza College since that time, where I have taught ESL 234, 244, 251, 252, 253, 260, 261, 262, 263, 272, 273, and 5.
