InfoMy bachelor's degree in biochemistry is from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania. After that, I worked for six years to earn my Ph.D. in molecular biology from Rockefeller University in New York City. Then I came to California to do post-doctoral research in X-ray crystallography at Stanford Medical School. I currently balance work and family by teaching part-time. Since 1996, I have been teaching various biology courses at Foothill, De Anza and Mission colleges.
