Slight Calendar Change for Friday-Only Class Test #2. Test #2 for the Friday-only class was originally scheduled for the last regular class meeting on Friday, March 19 - the week before final exams. For this class only, the test will be moved to the scheduled final exam session the following week. At that session we will both hear playback of final projects and take the second written test.
NOTE: This does not change any class meeting dates or times. Classes will still meet on the same original schedule. The only change regards the scheduling of activities at the final regular class meeting and final exam session for the Friday-only class.
This change does not affect the other electronic music class sections.

About the March 2 class. As you may know, I was out sick yesterday. I did not want to cancel two days of classes, so I came to campus today even though I'm still feeling a bit "under the weather." With this in mind, I will not present any new material in class today - too hard on my voice! I'm going to wait until Thursday to hear the lab assignment that was due today.
Today's class will be devoted to lab time to work on your final project. (Or, if you haven't already finished it, assignment #7.)

MONDAY, MARCH 1 MUSIC 51 CLASS CANCELED. MONDAY, MARCH 1: Today's Music 51: Introduction to Electronic Music class has
been canceled since I seem to have come down with a "bug" that is
affecting my voice. The assignment that had been due today will now be due on Wednesday. (If you need additional time to work on it you can come in during Tuesday's Intermediate class and open lab between 12:30 and 3:30.)
I expect to be back on campus on
Tuesday.
