Cell Phone Policy Reminder
Please do not forget the strict cell phone policy in my class. Cell phones must be put away and power turned off during class.* If you have a cell phone turned on, out for use, or actually use it during class, my policy as per the green sheet is that you will be told to leave the classroom and not come back until the next class.

I'm thinking about this because I had the unfortunate and regrettable experience this morning of having to enforce the policy and eject a student from the room. I am very serious about this.

*As per the green sheet, there is a single exception to the policy. If you have a very serious and critical personal situation that would otherwise force you to be absent from class and you clear it with me before class starts I will discuss a special accommodation with you on a day by day basis.
