Meeting Me Outside of Class - Important Reminders
I encourage you to meet with me outside of class to discuss any important class-related issues - questions about assignments, advice about how to prepare for tests, previewing your reports, etc. There are several ways to contact me, as described in the green sheet and elsewhere:

My office hour is at 11:30-12:20 on Monday-Thursday in A15. You do not need an appointment, though during busy times (for example, right before a paper is due) letting me know you'll be at my office hour may ensure that you get seen right away if there are others waiting.
I do not have a Friday office hour, but I am almost always available early in the morning before my 10:30 class. Check with me ahead of time to let me know you'll be coming if you can. You can also drop in, but be aware that I might not be in my office the whole time.
If none of my regular office hours work for you, I can usually schedule a meeting with you at a different time - early in the morning or in the afternoon following my classes.
Email can be a great way to contact me when an office visit isn't possible. I also have a voice mail box.
It is great to ask me quick questions before/after class, too - though I may not be able to give you as much time as I can during an office hour.

Some times are not as good for meeting with me.

While you can sometimes catch me quickly in my office right before class, understand that I can't delay that start of a class to speak to you individually. (If you visit before my 9:30 class - it is better to drop in at, say, 9:00 a.m. than at 9:25!)
While I am happy to meet with you outside of class time or normal office hour times, I do have other responsibilities then, too, including other classes and various meetings. If you drop in and I can meet with you I will - but don't think I'm being rude if I can't meet with you when I have a class or other responsibility.
