Test #1 Information
The test will have three parts:

A section consisting of typical true/false, matching, multiple choice questions that you will answer on your Scantron form.
A section on which you will write out answers on the test form. Responses might be single words, lists, or short paragraphs.
A listening question that I'll describe in class so that you can prepare.

The test may not take you the entire period, though the full period will be available to those who need it.

You can always check what topics are included by going to the course calendar. This test covers subjects from the units on Elements, Non-western Music, and Middle Ages and Renaissance. (It does NOT include material on the Baroque era.)

You are responsible for the text, the recordings, and material covered in class.
