First Listening Assignment Due Date Coming Up
Beginning with week 3 (next week) a listening assignment will be due each week - check the course calendar for details. Now is the time to begin working on this assignment. You don't want to try to do it at the last minute - for a variety of reasons, among them being that you'll generally have to both study the text and listen to recorded examples in order to answer the questions.

The links to the listening assignments are found in the course calendar. Look at the week when the assignment is due to find the link. (The first assignment link is found in the week 3 section of the calendar.) Click the link to download and view the pdf version of the assignment. PRINT OUT THE PDF form and ANSWER DIRECTLY ON THE PRINTED FORM.

I will not accept listening assignments that are not on the form printed from the web site unless you make special arrangements with me at least 48 hours before the deadline for turning in the assignment.

Almost all listening assignments are at least two pages long. Be sure to print both pages. You are required to either print them "back to back" on a single sheet of paper or STAPLE THE PAGES together. I will not accept loose sheets - nor will I accept sheets that have been attached with tape, a folded corner, a paper clip, etc.

Quiz Scores Posted
I have posted your scores on the first quiz. After logging in to the web site you may click on the Online Grades link in the sidebar and then click the link to quiz scores. There were 5 points possible on the first quiz. If you earned less than five points you should probably prepare to complete the "re-take" version of quiz 1 next Monday at the same time that you take quiz 2. If your retake quiz score is higher than your score on the original version of the quiz your grade will be based on the average of the two versions of the quiz.
