A Note About the Site Membership Process
If you completed the site signup (e.g. "membership") process and did not get an email address within a few minutes... something probably went wrong. I have received error messages from several sign up attempts where it looks like an invalid email address was used. Typically this is just the result of your typo when you entered the information, but it could also happen if your email account is full.

So, if you tried to sign up and never got an email message in response, please let me know right away.

How to Correct Your Site Membership Information
During class today a few people asked how to correct or edit their web site membership information - for example to add their first/last name or to make sure that they receive class email bulletins. Here is the procedure.
  1. After you have become a member of the web site, scroll down to find the Membership section at the lower right and click the log in link. Log in using your password (that you selected when you signed up) and your email address.
  2. After logging in go to the following address: http://faculty.deanza.edu/mitchell/music1/prefs/
  3. Make any necessary changes on this page, and then click the button at the bottom of the page to submit them.
  4. Be sure to log out of the web site when you finish.
