Week 2 Summary - Fall 2007

This was a project 1 work day for the MW class. (Although the project is due one week from today, Wednesday will be a Logic Pro day with little time for Garage Band assignment work. The only new things added were: the master track, using the server to back up a folder.

Finished rhythm with the exception of accelerando and ritardando...

Created backup folders on the server. Went over the process for backing u work to the server at the end of the session. Introduced Logic - taking a quick tour of the main screen and transport window, deleting non-inst tracks, selecting a plugin synth and a sound on the synth, recording notes, opening the region in the graphic display mode. (Briefly showed how to open - but not how to use - the score and alphanumeric regions displays.)

Completed the same new material as the MW class, but also heard the Garage Band assignments.
