Tuesday, May 29
Again went over methods for turning an imported sample into a sample instrument. Announced assignment #7. Did not hear #6 - do so on Thursday.
Wednesday, May 30
Basic import and editing of audio sources.
Thursday, June 1
Reviewed conversion of audio track to individual samples and inclusion of samples in Reason sample synthesizers. Project 7 due next week. Heard #6. Collected presentation proposals.
Friday, June 2
Went over the introduction to the weveform editor in Logic. Imported a track and cut it up, then edited length to match tempo. Also covered basic electronic music history topics for quiz 3, which is due next week. Also assigned project #6 for next Friday, and went over basic requirements of final project.
