Week 6 Summary - Spring 2007
Monday, May 14
Heard assignment #3. Introduced the basic use of signal processor/effects inserts. Did not do the electronic music topic, so had to change deadline for next quiz from this Wednesday to next Monday.
Tuesday, May 15
We will begin today's session with 30 minutes of work time on the current assignment, which I will listen to at that point. I now see that I recorded incorrect information in last week's summary. the project (#5: Linking Logic and Reason via Rewire) is not due until THURSDAY at the start of the period. After a somewhat extended work session today I introduce automation in Reason and the Class Presentation project.
Wednesday, May 16
Work time on next project. New lecture on 1950s era electronic music. Quiz assigned as due at next session.
Thursday, May 17
Heard #5. NN19 Sampler introduced.
Friday, May 18
Reviewed and collected Quiz 2. Announced test 1 date for next Friday. Introduced the use of plug-in effects, selected from the parameters panel or from the track mixer. Heard assignment 3. Assignment 4 due next week.
