A Note Regarding the Week 8 Schedule
Next week is the eighth week of the spring term - May 29-June1. There are going to be a few schedule challenges for the Music 51: Introduction to Electronic Music during week 8:

Monday, May 28 is the Memorial Day holiday, and the De Anza campus is closed. There will be no class on Monday.
Wednesday, May 30 may be affected by my responsibilities on the campus committee (the "IPBT" ) that is working to propose serious budget reduction strategies to address a possible major reduction for the college next year. Members of the IPBT have been told that we must attend an all-day meeting on this date. My plan is to make this a lab work day - so at this point it appears that the class will NOT be cancelled.

Some of these things remain unsettled as I write this, so watch for additional announcement in email and/or on the class web site.
