Tentative Intermediate Class Presentation Schedule
Based on the first group of presentation proposals turned in today I have started to schedule your class presentations. The current list is found below. Students who did not turn in their presentations much submit them on Thursday, and they will be scheduled to make their presentations on Thursday, June 12.

Fall 2009 Presentation Schedule

Equipment available in the classroom for use by all presenters.
  • Mac computer running MS: office inc. Powerpoint
  • Keyboard and audio; USB/MIDI to Mac
  • Logic, Reason, Protools LE, Garage Band, Sibelius
  • DVD, VHS playback
  • Computer playback of .mp3, .aiff, .mov, .qt files.
  • Projector for above. Laptops can connect if you have adapter.
  • Audio can connect if you can accept a 1/4” or 1/8” stereo plug.

Tuesday, Nov. 24 (proposals submitted after deadline)

  2. Wesley - hardware v. software
  3. Mohammad-Agha - Music Therapy
  4. Pineda - (Topic approval pending)

Tuesday, Dec. 1

  1. Jasso: Recording Engineer George Massenburg
  2. Peck: MIDI control surfaces
  3. Avila: Chiptures, LSDj Gameboy music sequencer
  4. Murcia: DJ Premiere (need more info)
  5. Fernandez: Topic needs revision or explanation

Thursday, Dec. 3

  2. Beggs: Comparing Logic and Protools for beat matching a loop
  3. Soriano: Autotune
  4. Lin: Film Music of Hans Zimmer (Dark Knight)
  5. Dollahon: Industrial Music - Aggrotech
