Final Project 'Pre-Flight Check'
There are a few things you should doubly check before you decide that you are truly finished with your final project. Here is a list:
- Make sure that all tracks are unmuted and that the click track (metronome) is disabled in the Logic Transport window.
- Go over the final project description at the class web site point by point and make sure you have hit every point in your project.
- Make sure to "SAVE AS PROJECT..." into YOUR FOLDER on the COMPUTER YOU USE IN THE CLASSROOM. This ensures that all files are located in one accessible place. (Intermediate class students should make sure to save their Reason file in the same folder.)
- Make sure to BOUNCE... your project to an mp3 file that you also save in your folder on the computer you use in class. (Be sure that no regions are selected when you do this - or your file will only be as long as the selected regions and we won't hear your entire piece!)
- Quit Logic (and Reason if you are an Intermediate Student).
- Find your mp3 file. Single-click it and click the Play button if you see one. If not, double-click it and play back in iTunes. Make sure that it sounds correct! Quit iTunes.
- With NO PROGRAMS RUNNING on your computer (e.g. -quit Logic, Reasons, iTunes, and anything else you are running), copy your entire folder to the server.
