Welcome! If you are a student in one of my classes, or are considering registering for one of my classes, please read the class description (click on that class on the left), and the Special Message to My Students.
If you are on the waiting list for a class, come to the first class and hope for the best. Many students on the waiting list DO get into the class! Please do not phone or e-mail me asking me to get you into the class--I cannot do that. If there is room, students on the wait list are added in order, and additional students may be added once the class has started.
For Biology 45, know that you must have completed the prerequisites, with a passing grade, before you can register for this class.
If you are registered for a course and something unavoidable prevents you from attending the first class only, you must contact me (phone, e-mail) and notify me of your intention to remain in the class. Otherwise I will drop you and add someone else into the class in your spot. Logging onto the course on Catalyst within the first 3 days of the quarter is equivalent to "attending" class.NOTE: I will be traveling this summer and will not have internet connection at all. I will not be checking e-mail from August 7-September 10.
Biology 45: Introduction to Human Nutrition (4 units)
