Welcome to my Homepage! I'm a counselor and an instructor here at De Anza College for the past 15 years and enjoying every moment of it.
De Anza College has a very active Vietnamese Student Association VSA which you are welcome to visit and participate. I'm also the VSA's club advisor who provides academic, career, and personal counseling to the members and officers in the club.
In addition, I'm the co-chair of the Asian Pacific American Staff Association (APASA). Founded in 1990, APASA is an organization comprised of Foothill-Deanza Community College District Staff. The mission and goals of APASA include addressing the needs of Asian Pacific American (APA) students on campus, promoting activities that result in a better understanding of the APA community, and participating in the development of a multicultural community in the Foothill-Deanza Community College District. If you are a full time or part time (APA) member of our college, please consider participating and being active in our organization.
I
love Vietnamese poetry. I also enjoy reading news and information
in Vietnamese when I have time. There are many wonderful books about
Viet Nam and Vietnamese literature in English for your reading
pleasure. If you have an interest in learning Vietnamese and its
culture, Van Lang is a wonderful place to visit.
If you are
currently a student at De Anza College and would like to schedule an
appointment to see a counselor for personal, career, or academic counseling,
please call the Counseling Department at (408) 864-5400 . If you are
an International student, please call the "International Student
Program" at (408) 864-8826 for an appointment. For crisis and suicide
services, please call (408) 279-3312. Thank you for visiting my
Homepage! Have a great day!
