Extra Credit Observations

If something in your everyday life has caught your attention and you think your observations have something to do with the theme or topics of the course, include the following in your write-up:

  • Describe your observations:   What have you noticed? What is the context of your observations? That is, when and where do you see what you see? Who's involved? And what are the circumstances of your observations?
  • Describe your reactions: What are your reactions to your observations? What did you think about what you've noticed?
  • Connect your observations to the course theme or topics:How do your observations relate to the course theme or any course topics? How do your observations make you think about the course theme or course topics? Or, how does the course theme or course topics make you interpret your observations?
