Extra Credit EventIf you attend an event that you think has something to do with the
theme or topics of the course, include the following in your write-up:
- Describe the event: What is it? When did it take place? Where did it take place? Who sponsored it? What was the purpose of the event?
- Describe your observations and reactions:
What did you notice at the event? What observations struck you? What
were your reactions to the event? What did you think about the event?
- Connect your observations of the event to the course theme or topics:
How does the event relate to the course theme and/or
any topics that we have covered in the course so far? How does the
event make you think about the course theme or topics in the course?
Or, how does the course theme or topics make you think about the event?
