Procedures FAQsI WANT TO USE THE INTERNET OCCASIONALLY TO DELIVER SOME INSTRUCTION. DO I HAVE TO INFORM ANYONE OF MY PLANS?
Not if the instruction is supplemental and the class will still be meeting on campus during assigned class times. If Internet instruction will replace a portion of assigned class meeting times, however, students and your colleagues need to be aware of your changes to the traditional course.
A draft of suggested guidelines has been created by the Business/Computer Systems Division to help ensure that potential students, the department involved, and division dean are aware of the modification. For more information about this topic and to access the draft proposal, see:

WHAT IF I DECIDE TO TEACH A COURSE MOSTLY OR WHOLLY ONLINE...DO I HAVE TO NOTIFY ANYONE?

MAY I POST COPYRIGHTED MATERIALS ON MY WEBPAGES?
This is a complicated question. It is possible, but be sure you are in compliance with copyright laws. See the article in ETS’ News Bytes, 4/14/03:
