Write a two page paper on one of the following topics:
1- Discuss Locke's argument for private property. Argue for or against private property. Include in your paper a discussion of money and its effects on property holding.
2- Explain Locke's view of that the only basis for governmental authority should be rational consent. Support or criticize his view.
3- Compare Locke's views on how society should deal with people who do not respect society's laws with Gbadegisin's. Argue for one or the other.
4- Do you think there is more individual freedom in Locke's ideal society or in Yoruba society? Argue for your answer.

12- Discuss Locke's view of the state of nature. Are people naturally the way Locke describes them? Are people ever in a 'natural' state?
