Bonjour! I am the chair of the French Department, part of the Intercultural/International Studies Division at De Anza College. I teach all levels of French offered at De Anza. To learn about my education and teaching background, and about what I do when I'm not being a teacher, see my Bio.

My office is in room F41n, located in the F4 building. The F4 building is off of the southeast corner of the L Quad, next to Parking Lots B and C (see campus map I share my office with my French department colleagues, so that's where you can probably find them during their office hours, too.

Monday through Friday 11:30 a.m. - 12:20 p.m.
Other meeting times may be possible, but by appointment only.

Office hours subject to change during final exam weeks (week 12 of every quarter). Please see Info and Links for announcements regarding other occasional changes to my office hours.

Also, please note that I am not on campus during Winter, Spring or Summer breaks, nor during the Summer session of classes.

If you wish to sign up for level 2 or higher of any language, and did NOT complete the prerequisite course at De Anza or Foothill College, you must complete a prerequisite clearance application AND an equivalency evaluation form. Instructions and applications can be found here:

The World Languages evaluation process is a voluntary task, and faculty are RARELY able to evaluate applications immediately. Please plan to submit your application and transcripts at least THREE weeks PRIOR to your registration date for the quarter in which you wish to take the world language course. Otherwise, the prerequisite may not be cleared in time for you to register for the course.
