write an essay that describes in detail a conflict, problem or difficulty within the family. The conflict
you write about could also be a conflict with someone you consider to be family, such as a close friend.

Here are some questions to consider as you think about the conflict you will write about.
Do not plan to answer all these questions in order, but rather think them over and use whatever seems
appropriate to your essay.

How long did the conflict last?

How was the problem resolved?

What role did each participant have in the resolution?
