LART211 Creative Stories (includes a poll!)Following are short stories that LART100 students wrote in only 30 minutes! They did a great job especially since they were restricted to the following instructions:
They had to take turns writing a sentence.
Each sentence had to include a concept from a random set of subjects.
Each sentence has to contain at least one subordinate clause.
Please read the stories and vote for your favorite by taking the poll at the bottom of the Web page. Consider which story is the most interesting and makes the most sense.
Also keep in mind that they have not been edited, so you are reading the uncut, uncensored versions.

Story "A" (Entitled "Dancing Naked")

When Charles watches the sunset, his clothes come off. Even though he's trying to be slick, his grandma and his dog, Skip, see him in action. While he is hula dancing, his body sways like a coca cola bottle. Unless he stops dancing, his grandma is tempted by his sexy movements. After all this dancing, Skip gets hungry. Whether Charles likes to be naked, the dog comes running and bites his butt.

Every time my grandma makes sticky taffy, she needs to go to the dentist to replace her teeth. In order for her to go to the hot, buffed, dentist weekly, she eats spoiled taffy. Since her breath smells like sweet dog poop, he has to wear a gas mask. He gives her candy, which comes in small containers, so she will return.

After I stretched, I went to swim at the De Anza swimming pool. Even though I swim in the cold water, the swimming heats up my body. Since I swim three miles everyday, it's difficult for me to operate with people later. When I go swimming, I also go hunting for underwater diving toys. Although it's hard to see underwater, the toys have a handle to grab so it's easy. As I go into the water, the toys give a colorful glow.

Since the sun was shining on my eye lids, I wandered about the desert. When I opened my eyes, I saw the sparkling sand of the beach. While I wandered through the beach, I stumbled into a coconut tree. Rather than trying to eat the coconut, I decided to keep it. Since I liked the coconut so much, I wanted to use it as a souveneir. As I kept the coconut, I always remembered the great time I had at the beach.

In order to attract hot chicks, I realize that I need to use today's exercise machine to get muscular. Unless I become muscular, I will not attract a pretty girl. While I was working out, I picked up the heaviest weight, and it fell and smashed my toes. Because I was in terrible pain, I ran quickly to the bathroom. After I slipped on the wet bathroom floor, I laid motionless on my back. Although I was hurt, I got up and ran to the medicine cabinet and put on what I thought was disinfectant, but it was poison. After I had accidently put on the poison, my toe fell off and I carried it till the ambulance came. As I waited in the emergency room, a hairy nurse came in. She threw me in the bathroom and left me naked rather than putting me in a bedroom.

After driving around for 20 minutes, I finally found a parking spot. Rather than buy a day parking pass, I placed a false piece of paper on the dashboard. While I hurried, I opened the door and hit a black Mercedes. Although I barely bumped it, the driver got out and started yelling at me. Even though the bulky man tempted me to fight, I remained calm. Rather than him getting my insurance, the ignorant driver sped away in a rage.

After Yasuko left the bag open, the chips went bad. Since the chips went bad, Moe decided to eat Taco Bell. Even though Moe was really hungry, he could only buy two tacos with his three dollars. When he ran into Dustin, Moe asked Dustin for a few bucks so he could satisfy his hunger. When they both got their food, they ate quickly, laughing and laughing. Although stars were sparkling in the dark sky, they kept talking, laughing and laughing.
