COURSE DESCRIPTION: Marketing and its functions in an economic and social system; emphasis on the consumer decision making process in the market place.

EXPECTED OUTCOME: In this course is to provide the student with a usable, managerial understanding of consumer behavior. Behavior is not a set of invariant rules, but rather a continuing uncertainty of constantly changing consumer.

METHODS OF EVALUATING THE OUTCOME: A combination of homework assignments, student participation in class discussions, and one midterm and one comprehensive final exam on course material.
ATTENDANCE: Attendance will be recorded at each class session and is very important as this is a concentrated course, even one absence will limit the student’s ability to contribute. It is the student’s responsibility to enroll and, if necessary, to drop this course by contacting the registrar’s office
