Journal tips
here are some common errors that you might want to be aware of before you turn things in
1. Put page numbers on your final presentations
2. any reference that is in text should also be on your reference page, and vice versa ( in short everything needs to be in two places
3. edit edit edit (don't be sloppy)
4. use a hanging indent in your referencing ( this can be found in the paragraph pulldown bar under special)
5. alphabetize your references
6. double space everything (even the refs)
7. you can use your book as the reference, but it should not be the primary reference. If you do not know what this means, please see APA Style Guide
8. don't use quotes
9. don't copy *anything* word for word. We will be using Turnitin.com as a source of referencing and a source of learning
