Hi there!

This is my sixth quarter at De Anza.

Below is "White Cat."  I adopted her from a rescue society who had held her months after she was supposed to go to an SPCA.  She was a kitty-mill cat, producing litters of Persian kittens for some breeder.  Animal Control broke up the kitty mill and she went from county to county waiting for someone to adopt her... with no takers.  When I discovered her, they said that because of her state of Renal (kidney) failure, heart problems, and the care she needed - I'd be lucky to have her last 6 months.  She was with us for almost three years, but sadly, we had to put her down back in November.  She was 2 months away from turning 20 years old.

When school is out, I work with a bunch of doctors as part of a volunteer medical group.  I've traveled to the Amazon jungle in southern Ecuador, and shanty-type towns of Mexico to give local peoples healthcare.  All of my trips have been amazing experiences, and I can't wait to take another trip to Ecuador this coming March, after finals are over.

My husband and I also love to travel.  My favorite city is Paris.  I would love to live there for a few months one day.  Other Places I'm fond of are Manhattan, Seattle, Calgary, Boston, and Maui to name a few.  We're trying to decide where to go for our next trip.  It's anyone's guess where that may be.

Well, that's it for now.  Please feel free to send me a message and tell me about yourself.

Cheers!
-n.

I spent two months in Paris last spring. It's an amazing city. I'd love to live there too... for a longer period, anyway.

Jenn

PS. Your cat is so pretty. She doesn't even look real in that picture!
