What a pain.
I'm not entirely sure what happened, but the editors only button keeps getting set. And, for whatever reason, I think my computer was partly to blame.
Just before finals, my system was hacked and many of the features were... well... not really working. Including buttons on my web browser, and initiating applications. Since it was in the middle of finals, I didn't have the time (or guts) to rebuild my system. It would have only added to the end of the quarter stress I go through each and every quarter.
But, after school started, I finally backed up my system and blew away the previous configuration. It's funny how easy it is to rebuild a computer's OS. The only real pain in the arse is finding all of the appropriate CDs for reinstalling applications, and tweaking configurations for each. I am fortunate enough to have a CD burner, so I'm able to backup many of my files, and archive them off routinely.
Anyway. I'm interested to see what this quarter will be like.
