Music 25, Guitar Performance Workshop General InformationGuitar Performance Workshop is designed for music majors, though
it is open to any student interested in developing skills in the following
areas:
- Ensemble playing
- Sight Reading
- Technical proficiency
- Performance skills and preparation
- Repertoire building
Class size is small, generally limited to ten students
Class sessions consist of
- Technique exercises
- Individual help and lessons in front of the class
- "Mock" performances in preparation for department recitals and
other performances
- Rehearsal and coaching of ensemble pieces
