Math 2A: Differential EquationsMath 2A is a course in ordinary differential equations and selected applications. First order differential equations, higher order differential equations, LaPlace transforms, differential equations with variable coefficients, and an introduction to numerical solutions of ordinary differential equations will be covered. Modeling and the use of technology are important aspects of this course.

MATH 2A SCORES
Below are all your scores and your GRADE for the course.
Grades were calculated as follows (Lowest points out of a total of 700 points):
A: 630
B: 560
C: 462
D: 385
F: 0
DO NOT TRY TO CONTACT ME UNTIL THE 3rd WEEK OF THE SPRING QUARTER. (IF IT IS ABOUT YOUR GRADE, IT HAD BETTER BE A VERY GOOD REASON. THE ONLY REASON I WILL CHANGE A GRADE IS IF I MADE A MISCALCULATION OF POINTS).

MATH 2A NOTES
Note: The Interval I of Definition of a function which is the solution to a differential equation is the same as the domain of the solution. So, a solution to a DE is a function on ANY interval I on which it is differentiable and satisfies the differential equation. For example, y = 2x is a solution of xy'=y. The domain or interval of definition of y = 2x is the entire real number line. Also, y = 2x is a solution of xy'=y on ANY interval I on which it is differentiable and satisfies the equation. So, for example, y = 2x is a solution of xy'=y on the interval (-10, 10).
