5. Pan-Arab Open University in Kuwait:
The first pan-Arab Open University was set up with Kuwait as its headquarters to provide supported open learning to tens of thousands of Arab students from 2002, January 9. In the first year, the university will admit 5,000 Arab students, with the number rising to 70,000 after 10 years and to 200,000 in the long-term.
